THE ESSENTIALS OF YOUR JOURNEY

BASIC INFORMATIONS

The Cyclades are Greece's most iconic sailing ground — over 220 islands scattered across the heart of the Aegean Sea, each with its own character, whitewashed villages, and impossibly blue water. Departing from Athens, you'll sail south past the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion before striking out into the open Aegean, island-hopping between Kythnos, Syros, Mykonos, Naxos and Paros. Steady summer winds, crystal-clear anchorages, fresh fish in harbourside tavernas, and the kind of sunsets that make you forget what day it is — this is Greek sailing at its finest.

Your journey begins. Arrive, meet your crew and get settled onboard.

Day 1

Athens to Cape Sounion

Boarding at Alimos Marina, Athens. Afternoon departure, sailing south past the dramatic Temple of Poseidon perched on the cliffs of Cape Sounion. First anchorage in the sheltered bay below the temple — one of the most spectacular settings in Greece.

Day 2

Cape Sounion to Kythnos

Morning sail across to Kythnos, one of the quietest and most authentic islands in the Cyclades. Anchor in the stunning Kolona Bay — a narrow sandbar beach connecting two bays — then dinner in the small village of Loutra, famous for its natural thermal springs.

Day 3

Kythnos to Syros

Sail to Syros, the capital of the Cyclades and one of the most underrated islands in Greece. Moor in Ermoupoli, a grand neoclassical port town with wide marble squares, colourful buildings and a lively waterfront. Explore the Apollon Theatre and dine in the backstreets of Ano Syros.

Day 4

Syros to Mykonos

A long but rewarding sail northeast to Mykonos. Arrive in the afternoon, moor in the old port and spend the evening exploring the iconic narrow streets of Hora — windmills, whitewashed walls, great food and legendary nightlife.

Day 5

Mykonos to Naxos

Sail south to Naxos, the largest and greenest island in the Cyclades. Visit the massive marble Portara gateway standing alone at the entrance to the port — a monument to Apollo dating back to 530 BC. Swim at the long sandy beach of Agios Prokopios and dine on fresh seafood in the old town.

Day 6

Naxos to Paros

Short sail west to Paros, one of the most charming islands in the Cyclades. Anchor in Naousa, a beautiful fishing village with a Venetian castle, excellent restaurants and some of the best beaches on the island. Sundowners at a waterfront bar as the sun drops into the Aegean.

Day 7

Paros — free day

A full day at anchor around Paros and Antiparos. Explore the sea caves of Antiparos, snorkel in turquoise bays, or simply do nothing. Final dinner together onboard as the stars come out.

Day 8

Return to Athens

Early morning departure, sailing north back toward Athens. Final swim stop along the way, arriving at Alimos Marina in the evening. Checkout at 09:00 the following morning.
